A20 Prevented horse robbery
Narrator: Franz Kreuzer Reporter: Mathias Kreuzer
I was taking care of our horse and its foal in the stable when suddenly two Russian soldiers stood behind me. They were searching the farmhouses for horses and pigs. In front of the gate there was a cart with three horses and ours should have been the fourth one.
We were scared and we were in great fear of loosing our horses because the foal would not have survived without its mother. A Russian soldier took a rope and tried to drive the horses out of the stable, but the horses neighed so much and fought so much against leaving the stable that the Russians had to give up and let the horses in our stable.
Then they moved on. After some time we learned that some other villagers hadn`t been so lucky because they had lost their horses to the soldiers.
