I18 Embraced before dying

My name’s Elisa Semenzato, I am 74 years old.

At the end of 1944 someone told that there were some partisans in the countryside of Trevignano.

For that reason the Germans captured some people found along the streets (both men and women). The Germans took them away with some trucks to execute them the morning after. In fact the Germans put the prisoners in rows of five and killed them.

In the last group there were my cousins Francesco and his son Bruno who embraced each other before being shot.
