Project meeting: "Oral history: How I experienced war"
2nd meeting, Kautzen, Austria 5th May – 8th May 2003

Monday, 5th May, 2003:
Arrivals at Mr Eggenhofer`s in the late afternoon
19.00: A short stroll through the village of Kautzen
20.00: Welcome dinner: Guests meet staff

Tuesday: 6th May, 2003:
8.30: Getting to know the school of Kautzen and some children working on the project
10.15: Project work: Evaluating and coordinating the work done so far
12.00: Lunch at the local pub
13.00: Departure to Allentsteig
14.00: Allentsteig “Aussiedlermuseum” (Museum about people driven out of their home villages)
15.00: Visit of a torn down village and meeting up to 3 former residents of the village, who give a short report of the events then, possibility to interview them (oral history)
17.00: Departure to Waidhofen, the biggest town of the district
18.00: Dinner at the Hotel Thaya

Wednesday: 7th May, 2003:
8.30: Project work: Shaping and designing the project website
11.00: Coffee break
11.20: Project work: Shaping and designing the project website
12.30: Lunch break
13.00: Lunch at Mr. Eggenhofer`s
14.00: Departure to Gmuend to see the “Blockheide” a unique piece of land, typical for the region, possibility to cross the border to Czech Republic (bring your passport)
17.00: Break
20.00: Dinner at a local inn in Mr Hanko`s home village

Thursday: 8th May, 2003:
8.30: Project work: Planning the work for the next year (How to publish the stories in a booklet, how to find sponsors, how to distribute the product, how to design the booklets and how to produce them, …)
11.00: Lunch at the local pub
12.30: Departures
